At AMC, we specialize in special education consulting. We use our training and expertise in special education and applied behavior analysis to help ensure a child has an individualized education program so the child can make progress.
Can you help me understand what my child needs?
Absolutely! One of our main objectives is to lay out the IEP process as clearly as possible to the parents. We help parents understand special education by breaking down the jargon and helping parents feel fully included.
What type of trainings do you do for school districts?
We specializes in training special education teachers and paraeducators in implementing applied behavior analysis strategies within the classroom. We use hands-on activities and customize each training to meet the needs of the participants.
Are you currently accepting new clients?
We are currently accepting new clients. Due to the individual needs of each client, we must discuss if we have the amount of availability needed to meet the needs of the client.
What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of behavior with the goal of improving the human condition. At AMC, we use the principals of ABA when we work with teachers, families, children, and each other.
Many families who are looking for ABA services are often looking for 1-1 therapy. At AMC, we do not typically offer this type of approach where the behavior analyst or other therapist comes to the home on a daily basis.
